Challenge:

Flow measurement specialists, Titan wanted innovative product design and product identity for its new range of high-accuracy, small bore, ultrasonic flowmeters. The aim being to develop a product in which the identity and product design work in harmony to express and differentiate the brand's core offering.

Solution:

KD supported Titan in all aspects of the Atrato design from industrial and mechanical design through to product naming and brand identity. Key attributes include:

  • Distinctive brand identity that personifies the product function
  • Naming and supporting product identity
  • Assembly of aluminium extrusions and injection mouldings allowing different product configurations to be created from the same core components
  • Flexible mounting and connectivity for fluids, power and data

Results:

Ultrasonic flow measurement technology has advantages of size, accuracy and flexibility with different fluid viscosities.  The new Atrato products, launched in 2010 have attracted wide attention from the flow measurement industry enabling Titan to position itself strongly as the leading player in flowmeter innovation.
