Warm Wax Jar
Challenge:
Reckitt Benckiser had developed a new wax hair removal formulation and wanted an innovative packaging solution which delivered:
- Enhanced shelf presence delivered through visibility of unique formula and absence of secondary packaging
- Modern and feminine aesthetics, reinforcing the convenience aspect of the product
- Effective conveyance of the Veet brand
Solution:
KD developed a custom pack structure with a translucent jar to provide visibility of the product and a cap with integrated storage for the wax strips and the application spatula. The lid includes moulded in branding element and labels are maximised to incorporate branding, product and regulatory information.
Results:
The jar stands out from existing boxed wax products highlighting its uniqueness. The new product was launched in France and other major European markets in 2010.
