Prototyping and model making are closely integrated within the KD design development process. The ability to create prototypes allows ideas to be more fully explored, tested and researched from an early stage.

Our dedicated team and comprehensively equipped prototyping studio provides a state-of-the-art resource for design innovation and development programmes, though we are also commissioned to work on stand-alone prototyping projects. Options include sketch models and test-rigs, through to highly realistic Looks-Like-Works-Like prototypes, from a single model to hundreds can be created for trial, research or launch.

KD uses the latest digital prototyping technology including, ProJet 3D modeller, stereo-lithography and automated high speed 3 and 4 axis CNC machining, together with high quality finishing, casting and mechanical assembly.
