Challenge:

Orthos recognised an opportunity to develop a new Bone Marrow Aspiration needle that would improve handling for the surgeon and increase perceived value through a new look and feel.

Solution:

A two part low cost disposable handle that provides an ergonomically advanced solution for surgeons, compliments existing surgical equipment and positions the Orthos brand in the surgical theatre environment.

Results:

The design solution for Osteoboost met demanding functional requirements and set a strong visual brand identity that became a key driver in development of the look and feel for other products and packaging in the Orthos range.
