KD make a berry smooth bunch at Insight show 2012
If you were at the Marketing Week Live show this year you will have struggled to miss the KD stand, manned by members of our Innovation, Research and Design team and including our very own KD banana man (!).
The Kinneir Dufort team were churning out delicious fruit smoothies for visitors and exhibitors to the show, with the help of a bike and their own leg-power. The lucky people who tasted the fruits of our labour were also asked to rate how good they thought the smoothies were on a scale of yuk to yum and then asked to design their own sweet concoction.
The reason for this? To demonstrate Kinneir Dufort's ability to bring ideas, concepts and experiences to life early in the process, to inspire and inform through co-creation. From a product to a user interface to a user experience, this process of 'making real' also showed that our Research and Innovation work leads to tangible outcomes and solutions because of the integrated way we work with design and our other departments.
