Q. How long does it take to make a tenth scale model of the Bloodhound SSC?

A. 120 hours!

We recently asked visitors to our stand at the DSEi exhibition to guess how long they thought it took our Prototyping studio to make a tenth scale model of the Bloodhound SSC, the 1000mph rocket powered-car set to smash the land speed record in 2013.

We received many guesses, but congratulations goes to our winner who got the answer spot on, winning himself a fine bottle of Highland Park whisky!
