Tonight see's the premier of the SPHERE project's first film. This film charts the progress of the Dress/Sense competition and showcases the innovative technology delivered. The competition not only produced high quality wearable devices, it also brought together participants and gave them extraordinary opportunities, Kinneir Dufort are extremely proud to have supported as judges.

Teams of scientists, medics, engineers, designers and textile artists came together in Autumn 2014 to compete in the first wearable technology competition of its kind in Bristol. SPHERE’s aim was to find experts who could join multi-disciplinary teams to design a wearable item that will have the potential to change lives through impacting and improving an individual’s health.

Kinneir Dufort’s interest in wearable technology for health and wellbeing, includes development of ambulatory solutions for skin cancer treatment with clients Ambicare Health, extensive experience in insulin pump systems for diabetics and exploration of opportunities for wearable technologies with leading consumer clients such as Sony Mobile.
