Shaping the Future of Human Factors and Ergonomics in San Diego


This week sees all Human Factors and Ergonomics experts turn their gaze to San Diego for The Human Factors & Ergonomics 2016 Symposium: Shaping the Future.

Hosted by the Human Factors and Ergonomics society, this three day event will offer cutting-edge presentations and workshops on emerging issues in health-care human factors and the challenges facing us in the near future.  Dr Ian Culverhouse, Head of Human Factors at Kinneir Dufort, will be jetting over to join hundreds of leading experts from multiple universities and heath care bodies including Harvard, UCL, Siemens, Phillips and GE Healthcare.

Collectivity they will debate, challenge and share insights on the latest science in human factors as it applies to health-care delivery, medical and drug-delivery device design and health-care applications, practical and actionable methods and techniques, key guidelines and regulations for obtaining market approval and best practices for training, design, validating, and surveying.
