31.05.16

Kinneir Dufort’s Head of Medical, Dr Greg Berman, has been asked by the renowned Digital Health Festival to join an expert panel on the 7th June. He will be addressing the question of Wearable Health and the Market Gap. The festival, hosted by The Digital Catapult, takes place between the 6th and 14th June and with contributions from key industry voices, is focused on shaping the future of the medical wearable sector.

Greg will be discussing the innovative ways UK small businesses are using wearables to tackle health challenges, as well as the opportunities this growth market presents and what businesses need to do next and the consumer pressures and fears they are already facing.

The healthcare wearables market is forecast to grow to over 100 million devices by 2020, which presents an unprecedented opportunity for many UK startups and SMEs carrying out pioneering research and development in this area. The Digital Catapult is committed to developing breakthroughs in the UK’s data sharing movement and the Wearable Health: The Market Gap conference on 7th June will bring together many of the innovators working at the edge of science and technology to improve patient health and wellness.
